QUICK LESSONS:
Be mindful of your manners while eating and show gratitude for what has been provided for you .

EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith narrated by Kab b. Malik states that the Prophet Muhammad used to eat with three fingers and not wipe his hands before licking them. This is a sign of humility, as it shows that he was content with whatever food he was given, no matter how little or simple it may have been. It also teaches us to be mindful of our manners when eating, as we should not be wasteful or careless in our consumption of food. Furthermore, this hadith serves as an example for us to follow in terms of how we should conduct ourselves while eating; we should take only what is necessary and show gratitude for what has been provided for us.
