QUICK LESSONS:
Use spells only to protect from the evil eye or scorpion stings
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us that spells should only be used for protection against the evil eye or scorpion stings. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us that using spells for any other purpose is not permissible in Islam. The evil eye is a type of envy which can cause harm to people, animals, and even objects. It is believed that by using a spell, one can protect themselves from this harm caused by the evil eye. Similarly, scorpion stings can also be treated with spells as they are believed to have magical properties which can help heal the sting quickly and effectively. Therefore, it is important to remember that spells should only be used for these two purposes and not for any other reason as it goes against Islamic teachings.
