Trusting in Allah Over Superstitions

SUMMARY: This hadith is about the importance of trusting in Allah and not relying on superstitions or omens.

Narrated Abdullah ibn Mas'ud: The Prophet said: Taking omens is polytheism; taking omens is polytheism. He said it three times. Every one of us has some, but Allah removes it by trust (in Him).

QUICK LESSONS:
Have faith and trust in Allah
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith emphasizes the importance of trusting in Allah and not relying on superstitious beliefs such as omens. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said that taking omens is a form of polytheism, which means believing in more than one god. He repeated this three times to emphasize its importance. Everyone has some doubts or superstitions, but we should trust that Allah will remove them if we put our faith in Him. We should remember that only He can control our destiny and no other power can influence it. We must have faith that whatever happens to us is part of His plan for us, even if it may be difficult to understand at first glance.
