Denial of Ghoul Existence

SUMMARY: The Prophet ﷺ denied the existence of ghouls.

Narrated AbuHurayrah: The Prophet said: There is no ghoul.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحِيمِ بْنِ الْبَرْقِيِّ، أَنَّ سَعِيدَ بْنَ الْحَكَمِ، حَدَّثَهُمْ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ عَجْلاَنَ، حَدَّثَنِي الْقَعْقَاعُ بْنُ حَكِيمٍ، وَعُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مِقْسَمٍ، وَزَيْدُ بْنُ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ ‏ "‏ لاَ غُولَ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is narrated by AbuHurayrah and it states that the Prophet (ﷺ) denied the existence of ghouls. A ghoul is a type of jinn which is an invisible creature in Islamic mythology. In this hadith, the Prophet (ﷺ) denies their existence and thus teaches us to not believe in such creatures or superstitions. This hadith also teaches us to be rational and logical when it comes to believing in something as we should only believe in things that are proven through evidence or facts. It also encourages us to think critically about what we hear from others and not take everything at face value without questioning it first.
