Sunan Abi Dawud 4730 (Book 42, Hadith 135) #25021
Seeing Allah on the Day of Resurrection

SUMMARY: On the Day of Resurrection, it will be easy to see Allah just as it is easy to see the sun and moon when they are not in the clouds.

Abu Hurairah said : The people asked : Messenger of Allah! Shall we see our lord, the Exalted, on the Day of resurrection? He replied : Do you feel any trouble in seeing the sun at noon when it is not in the cloud? They said: #He asked : Do you feel any trouble in seeing the moon on the night when it is full and not in the cloud? They replied: #He said: By him in whose hand my soul is, you will not feel any trouble in seeing him except as much as you feel in seeing any of them.

EXPLANATIONS:
On the day of resurrection, people will be able to easily see Allah without any difficulty. This was revealed by Prophet Muhammad through a parable. He asked if people have any trouble seeing the sun at noon or seeing a full moon at night when they are not in clouds. People replied that they do not have any trouble seeing them and Prophet Muhammad said that it would be similar for them to see Allah on that day. This hadith teaches us about how we should prepare ourselves for this great event and how we should strive to make our faith strong so that we can witness this momentous occasion with ease and joy. It also reminds us of how powerful Allah is and how He has created everything in perfect harmony with each other so that even something as grand as witnessing Him can be done without difficulty.
