The Blessings of Affliction

SUMMARY: Allah removes some of the believer's bad deeds when they experience fatigue, grief, disease or worry.

Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that: The Messenger of Allah said: "Nothing afflicts the believer, whether fatigue, grief, disease - even a worry that concerns him - except that by it, Allah removes something from his bad deeds".

QUICK LESSONS:
Have patience during times of difficulty and trust in God's mercy .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the blessings of afflictions that believers may experience in their lives. It is narrated by Abu Sa’eed Al-Khudri that the Messenger of Allah said “Nothing afflicts the believer, whether fatigue, grief, disease - even a worry that concerns him - except that by it, Allah removes something from his bad deeds”. This means that when a believer experiences any kind of difficulty such as sickness or sadness or worry and so on then Allah will remove some of their bad deeds because He is merciful and forgiving to His believers. Therefore this hadith encourages us to be patient during times of difficulty and trust in God's mercy for He will reward us for our patience with forgiveness and blessings.
