Striving for Good Intentions and Answering the Call of a Muslim Ruler

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught that there is no need to migrate after the conquest of Mecca, but it is important to continue striving for good intentions and to answer the call of a Muslim ruler for fighting.

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas: Allah's Messenger said, "There is no Hijra (ie migration) (from Mecca to Medina) after the Conquest (of Mecca), but Jihad and good intention remain; and if you are called (by the Muslim ruler) for fighting, go forth immediately.
