Dedicate yourself to Allah's cause and make sacrifices for it if needed.

This hadith is about how those who are wounded in Allah's cause will be rewarded on the day of resurrection. It is narrated by Abu Huraira that Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said, "By Him in Whose Hands my soul is! Whoever is wounded in Allah's Cause and Allah knows well who gets wounded in His Cause, will come on the Day of Resurrection with his wound having the color of blood but the scent of musk". This means that those who sacrifice their lives for Allah's cause will be rewarded greatly. On Judgement day, they will appear with wounds that look like they are bleeding but instead smell like musk. This shows how great a reward awaits them for their sacrifices and dedication to God’s path.
