SUMMARY: Spending in Allah's cause will be rewarded with entrance to Paradise.

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "Whoever spends two things in Allah's Cause, will be called by all the gate-keepers of Paradise who will be saying, 'O so-and-so! Come here'. " Abu Bakr said, "O Allah's Messenger ! Such persons will never be destroyed". The Prophet said, "I hope you will be one of them".

QUICK LESSONS:
Spend generously on causes related to helping others or pleasing God. Have faith and trust in God even when faced with difficult situations.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith, narrated by Abu Huraira and Abu Bakr, speaks about the reward for spending in Allah’s cause. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said that whoever spends two things in Allah’s cause will be called by all the gate-keepers of Paradise who will say “O so-and-so! Come here.” When Abu Bakr heard this he said that such persons would never be destroyed, to which the Prophet ﷺ replied “I hope you will be one of them.” This hadith teaches us that spending money or other resources for a good purpose is an act that is greatly rewarded by God and can lead to entrance into paradise. It also shows us how important it is to have faith and trust in God, as demonstrated by Abu Bakr when he expressed his belief that those who spend for a good purpose would not suffer any harm or destruction.
