The Gatekeeper of Hell

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) had a dream in which two men, Gabriel and Michael, told him that Malik was the gatekeeper of Hell.

Narrated Samura: The Prophet said, "Last night I saw (in a dream) two men coming to me. One of them said, "The person who kindles the fire is Malik, the gate-keeper of the (Hell) Fire, and I am Gabriel, and this is Michael".
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو رَجَاءٍ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ‏ "‏ رَأَيْتُ اللَّيْلَةَ رَجُلَيْنِ أَتَيَانِي قَالاَ الَّذِي يُوقِدُ النَّارَ مَالِكٌ خَازِنُ النَّارِ، وَأَنَا جِبْرِيلُ، وَهَذَا مِيكَائِيلُ

EXPLANATIONS:
In this hadith, the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ is reported to have seen a dream in which two men appeared to him. One of them identified himself as Jibreel (Gabriel) and the other as Mika'eel (Michael). They informed him that Malik was the gatekeeper of Hell. This hadith serves as a reminder for us to be mindful of our actions and strive for righteousness so we can avoid entering into Hellfire. It also teaches us about the importance of faith in Allah's messengers and angels who are sent by Him to guide us on our journey through life.
