Give charity even if it is given to a relative; Take care of orphans; Spend on those who are less fortunate than you; Be generous with your wealth; Help others in need regardless of their relationship with you.

The hadith narrated by Umm Salamah and Zainab, the wife of Abdullah, speaks about the importance of charity in Islam. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) encouraged people to give charity even if it was given to a relative. He said that giving charity to one's husband who is poor or to the children of a brother who are orphans is acceptable as long as they are spending such and such on them in all circumstances.
