QUICK LESSONS:
Seek guidance from Allah through prayerful contemplation before making any decisions about marriage or other matters related to family life.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of marriage in Islam. It was narrated by Sa'd that the Prophet Muhammad disapproved of Uthman bin Maz'un's desire to remain celibate and discouraged others from following his example. The Prophet believed that marriage was a blessing from Allah, and it should be sought out with prayerful contemplation (Istikharah). He also believed that it was important for people to have children, as they are a source of joy and comfort for their parents. This hadith teaches us that we should not take our desires into our own hands, but rather seek guidance from Allah through prayerful contemplation before making any decisions about marriage or other matters related to family life.
