QUICK LESSONS:
Strive for fairness and justice in all aspects of life. Make sure everyone has an equal chance when making decisions.

EXPLANATIONS:
Whenever the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, was about to go on a journey, he would draw lots between his wives. This is an example of fairness and justice that the Prophet showed in all aspects of life. He wanted to make sure that each wife had an equal chance of accompanying him on his travels and so he used a lottery system as a way of deciding who would go with him. This teaches us that we should always strive for fairness and justice in our dealings with others, no matter how small or insignificant they may seem. We should also remember that even when it comes to something as simple as deciding who gets what or who goes where, we should always try our best to be fair and just in our decisions.
