EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught that omens can be found in three things - a horse, woman and a house. Karahah is an Arabic term which means an omen or bad luck. It is believed that if one sees something bad or unlucky before doing something important, it could be an omen of bad luck for the task ahead. According to this hadith, these omens can be seen in three things - horses, women and houses. Horses are considered to bring good luck if they are seen before starting any important task while women and houses are considered to bring bad luck if they are seen before starting any important task. This hadith teaches us to take precautions when we see these three things before starting any important task as it may lead to failure or disappointment due to the presence of karahah or omen associated with them.
