EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the rights of children and punishment for fornication. It was narrated by Shurahbil bin Muslim, who heard Abu Um Amah Al-Bahili say that he heard Prophet Muhammad say that a child belongs to the bed, meaning that if a man has sexual relations with a woman without marriage, then any resulting child will be attributed to him. On the other hand, if someone commits fornication or adultery, they will get nothing in return as punishment. This hadith teaches us that we should not engage in any kind of premarital sexual activities as it is against Islamic teachings and can lead to serious consequences such as having an illegitimate child or being punished by Allah. It also reminds us to respect children's rights and treat them with kindness regardless of their parentage or background.
