Respect your spouse even if you disagree with them in terms of beliefs or opinions; Return all property belonging to each other without seeking any further compensation from one another; Follow the advice given by the Prophet .

This hadith is about the importance of returning property after divorce. Jamilah bint Salul came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said that she did not find any fault with her husband Thabit regarding his religion or behavior but she could not stand him due to his disbelief after becoming Muslim. The Prophet (ﷺ) advised her to give back his garden as a form of compensation for their divorce. This hadith teaches us that when couples decide on divorce, they should return all property belonging to each other without seeking any further compensation from one another. It also teaches us that we should be respectful towards our spouses even if we disagree with them in terms of beliefs or opinions.
