Sunan Ibn Majah 2324 (Book 13, Hadith 17) #31676
Taking Wealth Unlawfully

SUMMARY: No one should take the wealth of another Muslim unlawfully, even if it is something small.

Abu Umamah Al-Harithi narrated that he heard the Messenger of Allah say: "No man seizes the wealth of a Muslim unlawfully by means of his (false) oath, but Allah will deny Paradise to him and will doom him to Hell". A man among the people said: "O Messenger of Allah, even if it is something small?" He said: "Even if it is a twig of an Arak tree".

QUICK LESSONS:
Do not take someone else's wealth unlawfully

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us that we should not take the wealth of another Muslim unlawfully, even if it is something small. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ warned us that anyone who does this will be denied entry to Paradise and doomed to Hell. This hadith emphasizes how important it is for Muslims to be honest and trustworthy in their dealings with each other. We must always remember that Allah knows all our actions and will judge us accordingly on the Day of Judgment.
