Have patience and faith in God's plan for you

This hadith tells us about an incident that happened before Prophet Muhammad was sent by Allah as a prophet. The Quraish went to a sorceress and asked her to identify whose footprints most resembled those of the owner of Al-Maqam, which is believed to be where Ibrahim stood when he built Kaaba. She told them that if they spread out a piece of cloth on soft earth and walked over it, she would be able to tell them who it belonged too. When they did this, she saw the footprints belonged to Prophet Muhammad and said so. Twenty years later, Allah sent him as His prophet for mankind. This hadith teaches us that even though we may not understand why something happens in our lives at first, eventually everything will make sense in due time with patience and faith in God's plan for us all.
