Sunan Ibn Majah 3282 (Book 29, Hadith 32) #32636
Praying Without Ablution in Times of Need

SUMMARY: The hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's companions who, during his time, often did not have enough food or handkerchiefs to perform ablution before prayer.

It was narrated that Jabir bin 'Abdullah said: "During the time of the Messenger of Allah we often did not find anything to eat, and if we did, we did not have handkerchiefs, except our hands, arms and feet. Then we would pray without performing ablution".

QUICK LESSONS:
Remain faithful and trust in God’s mercy even when facing difficult times.
EXPLANATIONS:
During the time of the Prophet Muhammad, his companions often faced difficult times where they did not have enough food or resources to perform ablution before prayer. Despite this, they still prayed without performing ablution as a sign of their faith and trust in God. This hadith teaches us that even when we are facing difficult times and lack resources, we should still remain faithful and trust in God's mercy. We should also remember that our prayers are always accepted by God regardless of whether we are able to perform ablution beforehand or not.
