Kindness towards Servants

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) advised people to share their food with their servants and treat them kindly.

Isma’il bin Abu Khalid narrated from his father: "I heard Abu Hurairah say: 'The Messenger of Allah said: "When the servant of anyone of you brings him his food, let him make him sit by his side and eat with him, and if he refuses then let him give him some".

QUICK LESSONS:
Share your food with your servants; Make sure they are comfortable; Treat your servants kindly; Respect your servants; Give your servant some of your own food if he refuses it.

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught us the importance of being kind to our servants. He said that when a servant brings food for his master, he should be made to sit and eat with him. If the servant refuses, then he should be given some of the food as well. This hadith teaches us that we should not only provide for our servants but also treat them with kindness and respect. We should make sure they are comfortable in our homes and share what we have with them. This is an important lesson in humility, generosity, and kindness which all Muslims must strive to uphold in their daily lives.
