QUICK LESSONS:
Be honest & truthful in your words & actions

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of telling the truth, even when one is hungry. It was narrated by Asma bint Yazid that some food was offered to her and her companions, but they said they did not have any appetite for it. The Prophet then warned them against combining hunger and lies, meaning that one should never lie just because they are hungry or in need of something. This hadith teaches us that we should always be honest and truthful in our words and actions, no matter what situation we find ourselves in. We must remember that lying will only lead to more problems down the line, so it is best to avoid it altogether. Furthermore, this hadith also reminds us to be mindful of our words and actions at all times as we never know who may be listening or watching us.
