Pray for blessings from Allah ; Be generous towards others ; Show kindness towards all ; Be thankful for what you have been given .

This hadith speaks about a practice that was done by Prophet Muhammad ﷺ when the first fruits of the season were brought. He would say a prayer asking Allah to bless them in their city, their fruits, their Mudd and Sa. Mudd and Sa are two measurements used in Arabia at that time which were equal to 4 handfuls each. After saying this prayer, he would give it to the smallest child present as a sign of kindness and generosity. This hadith teaches us many values such as being generous towards others, especially children; praying for blessings from Allah; being thankful for what we have been given; and showing kindness towards others regardless of age or size. It also shows us how important it is to be grateful for our blessings no matter how small they may seem because even something like a handful can be blessed by Allah if we ask Him sincerely with faith in our hearts.
