The Prophet's Last Sight

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad never saw a thin loaf made from well-sifted flour until he died.

It was narrated that Anas bin Malik said: "The Messenger of Allah never saw a thin loaf made from well-sifted flour with his own eyes, until he met Allah".
حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ أَبُو الْجَمَاهِرِ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ بَشِيرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ مَا رَأَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ ـ رَغِيفًا مُحَوَّرًا بِوَاحِدٍ مِنْ عَيْنَيْهِ حَتَّى لَحِقَ بِاللَّهِ

This hadith is about the last thing that the Prophet Muhammad saw before he passed away. It was narrated by Anas bin Malik that the Messenger of Allah never saw a thin loaf made from well-sifted flour with his own eyes, until he met Allah. This hadith teaches us to appreciate and be thankful for all of our blessings, no matter how small they may seem. It also reminds us to always strive to do good deeds and live our lives in accordance with Islamic teachings so that we can meet Allah in peace when it is time for us to pass away.
