QUICK LESSONS:
Practice moderation when it comes to food consumption

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks to the importance of moderation and abstinence from excess eating. It was narrated by Abu Hurairah that the Prophet of Allah never ate his fill of wheat bread for three days in a row until he passed away. This hadith serves as an example to us all that we should not indulge in excess eating and instead practice moderation and self-control when it comes to food consumption. We should also be mindful that our bodies are a trust from Allah and we must take care of them accordingly.

The Prophet's example is one that we can all strive towards; even though he was blessed with sustenance, he still practiced restraint when it came to food consumption. He did not overindulge or eat more than what was necessary for him to sustain himself; this is something we can all learn from and apply in our own lives today.
