Sunan Ibn Majah 4164 (Book 37, Hadith 65) #33520
Relying on Allah for Provision

SUMMARY: Rely on Allah and He will provide for you.

'Umar said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'If you were to rely upon Allah with the reliance He is due, you would be given provision like the birds: They go out hungry in the morning and come back with full bellies in the evening".

QUICK LESSONS:
Rely on God for your provisions; Have faith in His promises; Do your part by trusting Him.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is a reminder from the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ that if we rely upon Allah with the reliance He is due, then He will provide us with sustenance like the birds. The birds go out in the morning hungry and come back in the evening with full bellies, showing that they trust Allah to provide them with their needs. This hadith encourages us to have faith in Allah's promise of provision and to not worry about our needs as long as we are doing our part by relying on Him. We should remember that whatever happens, it is all from Allah's plan and His mercy towards us.
