The Distinct Characteristic of Islam

SUMMARY: The distinct characteristic of Islam is modesty.

It was narrated from Anas that the Messenger of Allah said: "Every religion has its distinct characteristic, and the distinct characteristic of Islam is modesty".
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الرَّقِّيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ يَحْيَى، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ ـ ‏ "‏ إِنَّ لِكُلِّ دِينٍ خُلُقًا وَخُلُقُ الإِسْلاَمِ الْحَيَاءُ
