Reverting to Disbelief and Harming Others

SUMMARY: Do not revert to disbelief and do not harm each other.

Jarir bin 'Abdullah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah asked me on the occasion of the Farewell Pilgrimage to tell the people to keep silent, then he said, "Do not revert to disbelief after me, chopping the heads of one another". Al-Bukhari and Muslim.
عن جرير بن عبد الله رضي الله عنه قال‏:‏ قال لي رسول الله في حجة الوداع‏:‏ ‏"‏استنصت الناس‏"‏ ثم قال‏:‏ لا ترجعوا بعدي كفاراً يضرب بعضكم رقاب بعض‏"‏ ‏(‏‏(‏متفق عليه‏)‏‏)‏

EXPLANATIONS:
In this hadith, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is warning us against reverting to disbelief after his death. He also warns us against harming one another by chopping heads. This hadith teaches us that we should have faith in Allah and His Messenger and that we should treat each other with kindness and respect. We should never resort to violence or harm others in any way as it goes against the teachings of Islam. We must remember that our actions have consequences so it is important for us to think before we act.
