EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the virtue of patience and calmness. It was narrated by Ibn 'Abbas who accompanied the Prophet (ﷺ) while they were returning from 'Arafat. On their journey, the Prophet (ﷺ) heard a loud noise of beating and camels being driven forcibly behind him. He pointed towards it with his whip and said "O people! Proceed calmly. No virtue lies in rushing". This hadith teaches us that we should not rush or be hasty when doing something as there is no reward for it in Islam. Instead, we should take our time to do things properly and patiently so that we can get the best results out of our efforts. We should also remember to remain calm even when faced with difficult situations as this will help us make better decisions instead of acting impulsively or hastily which could lead to mistakes or regrets later on.
