The Best Provision for a Journey

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) taught a man that the best provision for a journey is piety, forgiveness of sins, and doing good.

Anas (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: A man came to the Prophet and said: "O Messenger of Allah! I intend to go on a journey, so supplicate for me". He said, "May Allah grant you the provision of piety". The man said: "Please supplicate more for me". He said, "May He forgive your sins!" The man repeated: "Please supplicate more for me". Messenger of Allah said, "May He facilitate for you the doing of good wherever you are". At-Tirmidhi.

QUICK LESSONS:
Seek Piety ,Forgiveness from God , Do Good Deeds Wherever You Go .

EXPLANATIONS:
A man once asked the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) to pray for his journey. Instead of praying for material provisions such as money or food, the Prophet taught him that the best provision is piety - being devoted to God and following His commands. He also said that it was important to seek forgiveness from God and do good deeds wherever he goes. This hadith teaches us that when we embark on any kind of journey in life - whether physical or spiritual - we should focus on seeking God's guidance and mercy first before anything else. We should strive to do good deeds wherever we go so that our journey will be blessed by Him.
