QUICK LESSONS:
Eat mindfully with good manners
EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught us to not eat while reclining against a pillow. This means that we should not lean back in our chairs or on the couch when we are eating. Instead, we should sit up straight and focus on the food that we are eating. This teaches us to be mindful of what we are doing and to take our time when eating so that we can enjoy it more and appreciate it more. It also teaches us to have good manners when eating so that others around us can enjoy their meal as well.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) also taught us to show respect for food by not wasting it or taking too much of it at once. We should take only what is necessary and leave some for others who may need it more than ourselves. By following these teachings, we can learn how to properly appreciate the food that Allah has given us and use it in a way that shows respect for both ourselves and those around us.
