EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks to the importance of seeking protection from Allah against any mischief or harm that may come our way. It was reported that when the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, feared mischief from a people, he would supplicate to Allah saying “Allahumma inna naj’aluka fi nuhurihim wa na’udhu bika min shururihim” which translates to “O Allah! We ask You to face them and seek Your Protection against their evil.” This supplication serves as an example for us on how we should turn to Allah in times of difficulty and seek His protection against any harm or danger that may come our way. We should also remember that no matter what situation we are in, if we turn to Him with sincerity He will always answer our prayers and protect us from any harm or danger.
