Devotion to the Qur'an Rewarded

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) taught that those who are devoted to the Qur'an will be rewarded on the Day of Resurrection.

'Abdullah bin 'Amr bin Al-'As (May Allah be pleased with them) reported: The Prophet said, "The one who was devoted to the Qur'an will be told on the Day of Resurrection: 'Recite and ascend (in ranks) as you used to recite when you were in the world. Your rank will be at the last Ayah you recite"'. Abu Dawud and At- Tirmidhi.
وعن عبد الله بن عمرو بن العاص رضي الله عنهماعن النبي قال‏:‏ ‏ "‏يقال لصاحب القرآن‏:‏ اقرأ وارتقِ ورتل كما كنت ترتل في الدنيا، فإن منزلتك عند آخر آية تقرؤها‏"‏‏.‏ ‏(‏‏(‏رواه أبو داود والترمذي وقال‏:‏ حديث حسن صحيح‏)‏‏)‏‏.‏

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us that those who are devoted to reciting and studying the Quran will be rewarded on the Day of Resurrection. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said that when a person is devoted to reciting and studying the Quran, they will be asked on Judgment Day to recite it again, and their rank in Paradise will depend on how far they get in their recitation. This hadith encourages us to make an effort in learning and understanding the Quran so we can reap its rewards both in this life and in our afterlife. It also reminds us of how important it is for Muslims to stay connected with Allah's words through reading, reflecting upon, and memorizing verses from His book.
