EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith reported by Aishah states that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) would strive more in worship during the holy month of Ramadan than any other time of year. He would devote himself even more to worshipping Allah during the last ten nights of Ramadan, known as Shab-e-Qadr or ‘The Night of Power’. This is a special night when Muslims believe that Allah revealed the first verses of the Quran to Prophet Muhammad. During this time, Muslims are encouraged to spend extra time praying and reciting Quran, as well as performing acts of charity and kindness towards others. It is believed that on this night, all prayers are answered and sins are forgiven if asked for sincerely from Allah. Therefore, it is important for Muslims to take advantage of this blessed period by striving harder in their worship and devotion towards God Almighty.
