Be merciful and kind towards those in need

This hadith speaks about the power of mercy and leniency when dealing with people who are unable to pay back their debts. It was narrated by Abu Hurairah, a companion of Prophet Muhammad, that he said that there was a person who used to loan money to people and would tell his servant that when an insolvent person comes, show them leniency so that Allah may forgive our faults. When this man died, Allah forgave him for his kindness towards others. This hadith teaches us the importance of being merciful and kind towards those in need as it can lead us closer to Allah's forgiveness.
