Supplicating to Allah for Guidance, Piety, Chastity and Contentment

SUMMARY: This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) supplicating to Allah for guidance, piety, chastity and contentment.

'Abdullah bin Mas'ud (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet used to supplicate: "Allahumma inni as'alukal-huda, wat-tuqa, wal-'afafa, wal-ghina (O Allah! I beseech You for guidance, piety, chastity and contentment)". Muslim.
وعن ابن مسعود، رضي الله عنه، أن النبي، ، كان يقول‏:‏ ‏ "‏اللهم إني أسألك الهدى، والتقى، والعفاف، والغنى‏"‏ ‏(‏‏(‏رواه مسلم‏)‏‏)‏‏.‏
