QUICK LESSONS:
Seek refuge in God .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us to seek refuge in Allah from all kinds of trials, torment, wealth, and poverty. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ used to supplicate to Allah by saying “Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min fitnatin-nari, wa 'adhabin-nari, wa min sharril-ghina wal-faqri” which translates to “O Allah! I seek refuge in You from the trials and the torment of the Fire and from the evils of wealth and poverty”. By doing this we are asking for protection against any harm that may come our way due to these things. We should also remember that it is only through His mercy that we can be saved so we must always turn back to Him for help.
