Closeness to Allah Through Prostration

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught that a person is closest to Allah when they are in prostration, and should therefore increase their supplications during this time.

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah said, "A slave becomes nearest to his Rabb when he is in prostration. So increase supplications in prostrations". Muslim.

QUICK LESSONS:
Increase supplications while prostrating .
EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith of Abu Hurairah teaches us the importance of prostrating before Allah. When we are in prostration, we are closest to our Lord and should take advantage of this moment by increasing our supplications. This hadith encourages us to make the most out of every prayer by pouring out our hearts in du’a while in sujud. It reminds us that even though we may not always feel close to God, He is always near and listening when we call on Him. We can use this time as an opportunity for spiritual growth and connection with Him through sincere prayer and reflection on His greatness.
