EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the rewards that come from fasting during the holy month of Ramadan. It is narrated by Abu Huraira that Prophet Muhammad said that whoever fasts during this month out of sincere faith and hope for Allah's reward will have all their past sins forgiven. This means that if a person has done something wrong in the past but then fasts sincerely during this month, they can be forgiven for those mistakes and start anew with a clean slate. This teaches us to always strive for betterment and repentance even after making mistakes as Allah is always willing to forgive us if we are truly sorry for our actions.
