QUICK LESSONS:
Control your tongue; keep to your house; weep over your sins .

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught that salvation can be achieved through self-control and reflection on one’s actions. He advised to control the tongue from speaking ill of others or engaging in gossip, to stay at home instead of going out unnecessarily, and to weep over one’s sins as a sign of repentance. These three steps are essential for achieving spiritual growth and ultimately salvation. Controlling the tongue is important because it reflects our inner thoughts; if we are able to control our speech then we will also have better control over our thoughts and emotions. Staying at home is beneficial for focusing on prayer, remembrance of Allah, and reflecting on our actions without any distractions from the outside world. Lastly, weeping over our sins is a sign of regretting them which leads us closer towards Allah’s mercy as He loves those who repent sincerely for their wrongdoings.
