EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith conveys a very important message about the importance of modesty. It was narrated by Abu Mas'ud Al-Ansari who was one of the companions of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. The Prophet ﷺ said that one of the admonitions given to people by previous prophets is to practice modesty in their lives. Modesty means being shy and not doing anything which goes against Islamic values or which would bring shame upon oneself or others. It also means avoiding any kind of immodest behavior such as speaking rudely or using inappropriate language in public places. Practicing modesty helps us to stay away from sin and it also helps us to maintain our dignity and respect in society.
