The Battle of Mu'tah and the Yemeni Sword

SUMMARY: This hadith is about Abu Sulaiman Khalid bin Al-Walid's experience in the battle of Mu'tah, where seven swords were broken in his hand and all that remained was a Yemeni sword.

Abu Sulaiman Khalid bin Al-Walid (May Allah be pleased with him) said: In the battle of Mu'tah, seven swords were broken in my hand, and all that remained with me was a Yemeni sword. Al- Bukhari.
وعن أبي سليمان خالد بن الوليد رضي الله عنه قال‏:‏ “لقد انقطعت في يدي يوم مؤته تسعة أسياف، فما بقي في يدي إلا صفيحة يمانية‏"‏ ‏(‏‏(‏رواه البخاري‏)‏‏)‏‏.‏
