QUICK LESSONS:
Strive to do good deeds; Purify your heart from negative thoughts/feelings; Have good intentions; Pleasing Allah
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us that Allah does not judge us based on our physical appearance or material possessions. Instead, He looks at what is in our hearts and how we act upon it. Our actions are a reflection of what is in our hearts; if we have good intentions then this will be reflected in the way we act. Therefore, it is important to strive to do good deeds as these will be taken into account when we are judged by Allah. We should also strive to purify our hearts from any negative thoughts or feelings so that they can become filled with love for Allah and His creation. This hadith reminds us that ultimately it is only through pleasing Allah that we can achieve true success in this life and the hereafter.
