EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the punishment for killing another Muslim. It was narrated by Abu Bakrah Ath-Thaqafi who reported that Prophet Muhammad said that when two Muslims fight each other with swords and one of them kills the other one then both of them are doomed to go to hell. He further asked why would even the slain person be punished and Prophet Muhammad replied that it was because he was eager to kill his opponent. This hadith teaches us that killing another Muslim is a grave sin and Allah will punish both parties involved in this act severely in hellfire. We should always strive for peace instead of engaging in violence against our fellow Muslims as it can lead us to severe punishment from Allah on Judgement Day.
