QUICK LESSONS:
Be consistent with your optional prayers.
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is a reminder from the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ to Abdullah bin 'Amr bin Al-'as to not be like someone who used to perform optional prayers but then abandoned it later. It teaches us that we should be consistent in our worship and not give up on it easily. We should strive to make our worship a part of our daily routine and keep up with it even if we are going through difficult times or feeling lazy. It also shows us that Allah ﷻ rewards those who are consistent with their worship and encourages them to continue doing so.
