QUICK LESSONS:
Showing kindness and compassion towards other people.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith, narrated by Abu Hurairah, speaks about the importance of showing mercy to others. It tells us that if we show kindness and compassion to those around us, we will be rewarded with the same in return. The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) demonstrated this when he kissed his grandson Al-Hasan bin 'Ali in front of Al-Aqra' bin Habis who was surprised as he had never kissed any of his own children before. In response, the Prophet Muhammad said “He who does not show mercy to others will not be shown mercy” which serves as a reminder that our actions have consequences and that it is important for us to treat people kindly if we want Allah’s blessings in our lives.
