The Wives of the Houris in Jannah Rebuke Women Who Harm Their Husbands

SUMMARY: This hadith explains that if a woman harms her husband without any due right, the wives of the Houris in Jannah will rebuke her and remind her that he is only a passing guest with her.

Mu'adh bin Jabal (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet said, "Whenever a woman harms her husband in this world (that is without any due right), his wife among the (Houris in Jannah) says: 'You must not harm him. May Allah destroy you! He is only a passing guest with you and is about to leave you to come to us". At-Tirmidhi, who classified as Hadith Hasan.

QUICK LESSONS:
Treat your spouse kindly and respectfully while they are here with you.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us about how women should treat their husbands. It explains that if a woman harms her husband without any due right, then she will be rebuked by the wives of the Houris in Jannah. The Houris are beautiful women who live in Paradise and they will remind this woman that he is only a passing guest with her and soon he will leave to come to them. This hadith also teaches us about how important it is for us to treat our spouses kindly and respectfully as we do not know when we may have to part from them. We should always remember that our spouse is like a guest who has come into our lives for some time, so we must make sure to treat them well while they are here with us.
