The Bond of Relationship

SUMMARY: Allah will reward those who maintain good relationships with others and punish those who sever ties with them.

'Aishah (May Allah be pleased with her) reported: Messenger of Allah said, "The bond of relationship is suspending from the Throne, and says: 'He who keeps good relations with me, Allah will keep connection with him, but whosoever severs relations with me, Allah will sever connection with him". Al-Bukhari and Muslim.
وعن عائشة قالت‏:‏ قال رسول الله ‏:‏ ‏ "‏الرحم معلقة بالعرش تقول‏:‏ من وصلني، وصله الله، ومن قطعني، قطعه الله‏"‏ ‏(‏‏(‏متفق عليه‏)‏‏)‏‏.‏

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of maintaining relationships. It tells us that Allah has created a bond of relationship which is suspended from His throne, and it says that whoever keeps good relations with others, Allah will keep connection with him. On the other hand, if someone severs ties with others, then Allah will also sever connection with him. This hadith teaches us to be kind to our family members and friends and to treat them well so that we can receive blessings from Allah in return. We should always strive to maintain strong relationships in our lives as this is what pleases God the most.
