Obey commands of Allah and His Messenger

This hadith speaks of the importance of obedience in Islam. It tells us that even if we love someone very much, we must obey the commands of Allah and His Messenger. In this case, it was commanded that the man should divorce his wife. This shows us that even if our emotions are strong, we must still follow what Allah has commanded us to do.
