Respect your elders , give priority to elderly people .

This hadith is about respecting elders and giving them priority over younger people. It is narrated by Abdullah bin 'Umar who reported that Prophet Muhammad ﷺ saw in his dream that he was cleaning his teeth with a miswak, which is a small twig used as toothbrush. Two men came to him, one being older than the other and he gave the miswak to the elder man instead of giving it to the younger one. This hadith teaches us an important lesson of respecting our elders and giving them priority over younger people even if it means sacrificing something for them like in this case where Prophet Muhammad ﷺ gave away his miswak which he was using himself at that time. We should always remember that our elders have more experience than us and they deserve respect from us no matter what age we are or what position we hold in society.
