Show respect for those in higher positions; Be kind towards all; Do not discriminate against anyone based on social standing; Treat everyone with kindness regardless of background or financial situation; Give charity when possible .

This hadith teaches us that we should treat people according to their status. It was narrated by Maimun bin Abu Shabib that Aishah (May Allah be pleased with her) was asked for charity by both a beggar and a well-dressed person. She gave the beggar a piece of bread while she invited the well-dressed person to sit down and served him food. When asked why she treated them differently, she said it was because Prophet Muhammad ﷺ instructed us to do so. This means that we should show respect for those who are in higher positions than us as they deserve it due to their status or position in society, while also being kind towards those who are less fortunate than us such as beggars or homeless people. We should not discriminate against anyone based on their social standing but rather treat everyone with kindness regardless of their background or financial situation.
